"Prosopamnesia is defined as neurological impairment, the deficit on the part of this circuit responsible for encoding perceptions as memories."
The created print series use images from family double knit patterns transferred into digital photographs and serigraph prints. This body of work explores the narratives of the nuclear family, memories, and issues of identification. As a photographer and printmaker, I am interested in the use of the camera and printed images as a way of surveillance and documentation of actual events. This relationship to the subjects identity and the original environment become irrelevant for the overall narrative.
